Terms of use

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Zahab Services LLP (“we”, “us”) for Postcard,The Hifz App and this website. Wake Me Up has its own terms of use. If you download an app from the App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, these terms add to it rather than replace it.

1. Using our apps

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use our apps on devices you own or control. Don’t misuse them: no reverse-engineering beyond what the law allows, no attempts to break their security or overload our servers, and no use for anything unlawful.

2. Your content

Photos you edit in Postcard and your recitations and progress in The Hifz App are yours. Postcard never uploads your photos. The Hifz App uses your data only as its privacy policy describes.

3. Your Hifz account

Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete it at any time; see Delete your Hifz account. The Hifz App is a study aid. Its recitation check uses automatic speech recognition, which can make mistakes, so it is not a substitute for a qualified teacher.

4. Purchases

If an app offers paid features, the price is shown in the app before you buy, and payment and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Any subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your phone’s subscription settings, at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

5. Changes and availability

We may update our apps and these terms. If a change to these terms matters, we will update the date at the top. We may stop offering an app or a feature.

6. Liability

Our apps are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

7. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
